How long do I get access for?

Can I download the material?

You can download the support materials and all of the article PDFs so that you can print them. You can't download the videos (as they are such big files) but you can access them anywhere you have internet access.

How long does it take to get results?

I don't know my Body Type/ Constitution... do I need to know that to do the course?

No you don't. The course offers an approach to Ayurvedic nutrition and cooking that is balancing to all constitutions. There are no confusing food charts and no need to know your constitution. But for fun, we'll try and work it out during the course and you can ask me for help if you're not sure...

 

I have kids and a husband who likes meat. Will the food suit the whole family?

Even making small tweaks to the preparation and timing of the food you already eat can make a big difference to digestion. Your lifestyle practices can also make a huge difference. You can slowly introduce some super yummy recipes and see how the family likes them. You might even convert them! Kids often love Ayurvedic food, especially the porridges... it may just take a little time to broaden their palate.


 Is the course suitable for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free, dairy-free or sugar-free people?

Yes, it is perfect (although, if you are avoiding these foods due to poor digestion you may be able to incorporate a little gluten or dairy again as your digestion heals, if you'd like to). Our WARMTH cookbook is vegetarian and has vegan and gluten-free options for every recipe. Also, if you're NOT vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free or sugar-free, this course will suit you too!


I have a copy of your book, 'Ayurvedic Nutrition for Beginners' (formerly called 'Living Ayurveda'). Is there additional information in the Course that I would benefit from or is it similar to your book?

This Online Course is based on my book, and the Support Notes are actually my book broken up into Modules.  If you liked my book, you will love this Course. The layout is similar but I go into more detail and it's always different reading vs listening to someone talk, particularly if you're a visual learner. The additional Cooking Module and Cleansing Module are a huge bonus and I also include a bunch of my articles that are no longer available on our website. You can dip into the information and re-watch the videos whenever you like.


I'm an Ayurvedic Practitioner. Would it be useful for me to purchase the course?

I think so, yes. It will give you an interesting perspective on how to present Ayurvedic information to your clients and you'll learn a lot about food and dietary approaches that weren't covered in your course. You may find it helpful to refer your clients to the course (as it will give them a really great basis of understanding and will educate them about when it's best to see a Practitioner).

Nadia Marshall is the Director of the Mudita Institute in Northern NSW, Australia. She is an Ayurvedic Food and Lifestyle Consultant, Cook and Health Writer. After suffering from a restrictive eating disorder and activity disorder in her teens, Nadia had ongoing digestive problems and body image issues throughout her twenties..... until she discovered Ayurveda (and Yoga!) in 2002 and it completely changed her life. After studying with the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies in New Zealand with Dr Ajit from 2003-2007, she has been living, breathing, researching and writing about Ayurveda ever since. Formerly a professional Speech Writer, she combined her passion for writing with her passion for Ayurveda. She is the author of three self-published books and has been a regular contributor to Nova Magazine, Everyday Ayurveda and a consultant to Sarah Wilson from 'I Quit Sugar'.
